Steven left the British Royal Marines Commandos and came to Canada in the fall of 1992. He immediately began to study for his Alberta Real Estate license. In the following year, Steven became a member of the Century 21 Byron’s Million Dollar Club. This was despite entering into the business when oil was just ten dollars a barrel causing the worst market in years & knowing very few people at all! Steven maintains learning the fundamentals of real estate at such a poor time gave him a foundation that helps him to sell property in any market conditions.

Though real estate is his passion, it’s a time-consuming job when you are very successful and it can take a toll on young families. Steven took a break from being full time in the industry for several years to focus on a 9-5 career which allowed him to spend more time at home and even coach all three of his children’s sports teams. The chosen career path was in high tech where Steven quickly rose to the executive suite becoming Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He helped an Alberta organisation become one of Canada’s most recognised growth companies, with sales growing from 11 to 80 million in just a few years. 

In 2007 Steven came to Kelowna as VP of Sales and Marketing for a local internet based company which also saw massive growth during his time on the executive. After a short time in Kelowna, he decided the children were now old enough for him to move back into the real estate market full time. Steven felt his extensive real estate experience combined with the high-tech marketing knowledge he had gained during his sabbatical would give his clients a distinct advantage in a market where over 90% of the buyers now use the web to decide which homes to short-list and view.

The results proved his theory correct. Steven was the #1 REALTOR at Century 21 for listings sold before leaving and in his first full year at RE/MAX he established that honour there too. Steven was inducted into the RE/MAX International Hall of fame after just 16 months with the company. This is by far the fastest on record in our region. In 2013 he became the first REALTOR©  for any company in our region to be inducted into the Million Dollar Guild which is an international award given for excellence in marketing homes over 1m and is currently one of only two active members in our region of the RE/MAX TITAN's club for sales excellence.  He is a firm believer in systems and has developed techniques to sell any home from a small apartment to a lakeshore mansion fast for top dollar.

Todd MartinTodd Martin

Todd was born on May 21, 1975 in Winnipeg, MB. He moved with his wife Brenda to the Okanagan in 2005 and shortly after became a full-time Realtor® Todd was originally partnered with Jason Hymers who takes a back seat in operations. Todd has won many awards for sales excellence and client service but is most proud of his reputation among other Realtors® as a hard working professional who will work tirelessly and ethically to put a deal together and make sure his clients achieve their goals. 

Todd, Benda and their two girls girls- Alexa (10), Sarah (8). enjoy the Okanagan lifestyle. They are known as a super active family that loves the outdoors. In winter they ski Big White in Summer they bike, camp and hike.


Annette - WebsiteAnnette Jensen 

A Passion for helping people and an intuition second to none!

You could say Annette was destined to end up in real estate after moving homes 18 times! This includes moving out of country six times and out of province twice! Born in Edmonton and raised both in Alberta and Denmark, Annette developed a passion for travel early in her life but loves her Kelowna home.

Matt Van Emmerik - Photography

Matt takes professional pictures of every home we list and we show them off on our web-site to show them off in full high definition. With over 90% of buyers looking on-line to choose which homes they will view it is critical that buyers get the best impression.


Krystelle Ambrus - Marketing Support

Once we have photography Krystelle makes the home come to life on paper. She builds beautiful brochures so when buyers review the homes they have toured, yours will stand out!


Kate Martin - Conveyancing

Once the home is sold Kate will liaise with the lawyer for both parties. There are literally hundreds of things that can make a deal fall apart even after an offer has been accepted. Kate makes sure 99% of these issues are dealt with before they are a problem and our clients are not even aware. If there is an issue she lets us know in time to deal with it proactively on your behalf.


Lissi Jensen - Administration and Alberta Liaison

Lissi handles web site & CRM administration. She also takes care of daily marketing tasks and because she is in Alberta she can give personal service to clients and REALTOR® partners in what is still our most important market. Lissi also manages our accounting systems.
