Kelowna and the surrounding areas are a gorgeous fruit-growing, wine-making paradise on the shores of Okanagan Lake in south central British Columbia. The climate is beautiful, with average daily temp for summer above 23 degrees yet we have long stretches over 30 degrees in July / Aug / Sept most years.
With low humidity, the temperatures are most enjoyable. In winter average daily temp is just below 6°C. the beautiful lakes and mountains add up to a year-round playground. Water sports on massive Lake Okanagan, trail riding, biking, hiking and winery tours in summer and even when we have no snow you can find lot’s up at Big White ski resort during winter months. The resort is just thirty minutes from town!
